Off the top of my head, tt sounds like you have a loose or broken wire under the seat. This thread might be helpful.

Very common problem. Just check under the driver seat there's a pair of wires goes from seat into floor after many times fold the wires get broken. Simply use some wires connect(and better solder) them the problem will be gone. Suggest you disconnect battery and discharge airbag before doing it since airbag might deploy if you did something wrong.
