Default fuse 29 keeps blowing

Any ideas? car will not start. The car blew timing belt, I replaced it and redid the head, now it will not start. Does anyone here know what fuse 29 has in its circuit? Thanks

That fuse goes to the leak detection pump(ldp), and powers up the coil pack. It would be easier to unplug the coil pack first. The coil pack is on the front of the motor down below the engine cover. unplug the connector and inspect the wiring look for burnt or shorted wires. if any are found repair the wires. with the connector loose replace the fuse. IF it does not blow then it is the coil pack that is bad. If it blows then you will need to go to the leak detection pump. it is in the right rear fender well above the evap canister. do the same thing inspect the wires then unplug and replace fuse. if both are unplugged and fuse blow then there is melted wiring somewhere. if no fuse blow then replace the ldp pump.

Got this off the Web. HOpe it helps!

According to the wire diagram Fuse 29 is directly connected to the ignition coil. So either the coil is short or the wire is damaged during your had removal. First unplug the wire harness from the coil and switch key to ON see whether the fuse blows(I suggest you use a self-recover fuse and listen to the kicking noise to prevent from blowing fuse). If it doesn't then you can try replace the coil. If it does then you have to track the wires that go to the coil.

I would vote for a damaged wire during head removal
