Default 1999 vw beetle mass flow sensor?

I bought a 99 beetle gls 2.0 engine. The nipple broke apart that connects a black rubber tube from the mass air flow sensor,,do I need a new mass air flow sensor or does the nipple come separate?

This is not the MAF sensor. This is the PCV valve. You can try using some strong glue to make the plastic pieces together and you probably have to use some hot melt glue to ensure the seal. If that doesn't work you have to replace the air intake duct and PCV valve assembly. They are not separable. Take a look at junkyards I'm sure you can find one there.

That is the heater for the crankcase vent. It heats up and vaporizes any moisture that comes out of the engine. You have to buy the whole intake tube, since it's glued in. I purchased mine off of eBay for $20. The dealer wants close to $200.
