New, new Beetle.

So, I'm no longer blurpledad, I guess I'm orangedad. My daughter's 99 beetle was hit from behind and pushed int a vehicle in front. Total loss. Nobody was hurt tho. So today she picked up her orange '03 Beetle! We're all pretty excited. It's altogether in better ondition than the other one, and has a sunroof!

Sorry to hear about Burple. At least it kept your daughter safe, which is the testament of our little rides. Congrats on upgrading- glad to hear that you and daughter are happy.

I'd like to see a few pics of the orange NB.....could it be a Color Concept?

I was amazed at how little damage the beetle took. Unfortunately, It didn't take much to total it. The car that hit her, (a Toyota Camry) was devastated in the front! If not for the radiator, the Beetle would've been drivable. I hated to let them total it, but it's worked out really well. I'll get some pics today.

sorry to see you lost a newbeetle and glad u folks are okay. You might want to contact the insurance and they might sell you the car back to ya instead of the junkyard, might make a great fixer upper.
