Dealer diagnosis for trouble shifting $$$
Well, it's time to bite the bullet - I went to the dealer after work today to see if they'd take a look at my gear shifting troubles.
I don't have all the details but suffice to say that for 2 parts that live in the engine bay that are part of the shifting linkage to the tranny (I think) for $80 and 2 hours labor they gave me an estimate of just under 3 bills to replace the two parts that they think will solve the NO reverse problem. (course they always say i*it depends on what we find, could be more to do*
My new job pays 1/2 of what I used to make (a job, nonetheless) so this is a big hit to the wallet and I gotta do it cuz I'm driving all day now
So now I need to figure out if I even need the shift kit from ECS - hope I can do a return cuz I haven't been able to catch up with anyone willing to install parts that they don't sell me.
This is so frustrating, I just needed to *vent* a bit
