Default Bolt pattern???

I am looking at some new rims for my car, 1998 2.0 liter. Does anyone know the correct bolt pattern size? I dont want to screw around with the bolt pattern. Thanks!

5x100 is the pattern. What offset you yse depends on the wheel width, but usually it will be et35 or et38 for an 8" wide wheel

Will these fit?? The offset looks bigger than what you guys are telling me. The Manufacturer says they will fit 98+ New Beetles??????

Default mb wheels on a 1998 2.0 dont think that beetles are 5X100

Just purchased 4 MB sevenX wheels for my NB and cant get them to fit. Everyone is saying that NB bolt pattern is 5X100. here is a link to the wheels i bought. Wheel Details - Discount Tire
they are 5X100 or 5X114.3 neither works. I assume that NB bolt pattern is smaller than 5X100. ??

Nope. It is 5x100. 101% sure. Good luck. Call the wheel place for help with your application.

Is the hub diameter an issue? Believe the opening is 57.1mm.
You could double check on tirerack.com. Hope this helps.
