Unhappy airbag light on 2004 gl 2.0

Can anyone tell me how to reset this light on my own. I have had to get the light reset twice already. Is ther a code scanner I can get to rest the light?

You need VAGCOM software to reset it. Big question is why does it keep kicking on? If VW is resetting it, why are they not investigating the source.

It is coming on because the passenger seat was being moved (WIFE) during start up. Where can I get this software and scanner to load it?

Go to OBDTOOLS.COM and get the kit. It's about $70.00 and worth every penny. Mine was on because of a low voltage condition from the battery, stealer wanted $90.00 just to hook-up, so by using it the first time it just paid itself. Good luck!
