Default Exhaust options

O.K. so I own a 2007 new beetle. Harvest Moon sedan. I was wondering if a borla muffler would sound good on the 2.5L or what would be the best option. I want a really agressive non-honda sound. The system I'm lookin at is at techtonics tuning. I need a mean sound to compensate for my manliness, Considering I drive a harvest moon beetle....

For some ideas of how the 2.5 sounds with exhaust search google video or youtube for ""Rabbit 2.5 exhaust" and "Jetta 2.5 exhaust". You will be pleased, it is what you'r looking for.

No guarantee that the exhaust hangers will line up, though. Good chance, but no guarantee. Despite that, a decent muffler shop installing it should be able to figure it out. Good luck.

I've got a FlowMaster set up. I specifically asked for a 'non rice' sound and they delivered. It's very throaty.

Here are some pics.....and yes, I know I need to clean the damn thing.

Thanks JuggBug. I'll have to look into that. I was looking at a techtonics system. I heard a few on Youtube. They sound quite nice. I love your beetle it's just like mine .
