Exclamation Issues with my 07 seats move and thumping sound in back area

I am having some issues with my 07. When I make a turn or go over a bump my seat moves. The dealership that works on my car says this is standard I have never had this issue in my 00' at all but in the car I feel like my seat is always moving a round. When I come to a stop at a light my back end is making a thumping should like something is hitting it under the back side. I can't find where the sound is coming from and the dealership said they could not reproduce the sound and I don't know what is causing this sound if I can't reproduce it either. It mainly happens when I am stopped at a light but it doesn't happen all the time.

I would try a different dealer, the seat does not move in my '05 and didn't move in my old '98

seats shouldn't move; bitch at the dealership and go to a different one.

Or just buy a used seat from someone and try that. It may work out cheaper.

Sounds like something wrong w/the sliding mechanism, but I dunno.

regarding the thump, you're just going to have to find a way to recreate the problem. Maybe it's something in your trunk; maybe it's a loose bolt; or maybe it's a torn bushing. No way to diagnose it till you can recreate it at will.

An '07? Aren't you still under warranty? Find a competent dealership and let them fix your problems.

If they feed you that line about the seat, ask for a test drive in another car w/the same 'standard' behavior.
