Pipes for the 2.5l

Hi All,
It seems that the 07 has changed in a few areas making earliers mods lengthy at best, fog lights and lower grille, interior bits; etc. My question though is about exhaust pipe tips; do they fit from say an 05? And is it feasable and how we can put custom pipes / mufflers on our beetles; has anyone done it on the 2.5l and how does it sound?

Theirs look identical but for considerably less. .
