no worries , i respect your opinion.

for myself and people i know using KN years before i started to use it, nobody had any problem with it nor with the Maf .... no problem at all.

i really believe KN when they say they can let go more air through the filter without having less filtration quality.

one thing people have to keep in mind: it's not twice the quantity of air going in when using KN filter, but approximately between 10 to 30% more air going through the filter, so the filtration can still remain as good, since it's a very good material to filter and oil has never been a problem at all, to the contrary, it help filtrating lots of small elements, that are sometimes not visible to the human eye.
and that's the main point of K&N filters : a bit more air, whilst keeping away from your engine harmful particles! and doing it as good as genuine filters

so for my conclusion: you get a bit more air and performance and more gas mileage without risking your engine, and of course savings for your wallet and less pollution for this poor planet.

anyone is free to believe any post on here , any opinion, i still respect your position mate, but here was mine and my experience with it.
