Default Cabin Filter

Air smelled kind of "funny", (in lack of a better term) so I thought to replace the cabin air filter. We got the car back in August with 22000 and currently have 23500. I was speechless at the sight of the filter... no wonder the smell. Something to think about... I cleaned both sides total time about an hour.

Wow, that's pretty dirty for only 22K miles!

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Car was at Walnut Creek Ca, before I brought it to Fresno. I guess she lived in the woods or something, there is no other explanation. At least now I know it's clean...

Is there one like that on the convertible? I couldn't find any reference to it in the manuals.

Same place my old '00 had it. Under the dash, passenger side. Same procedure.

I looked in the Bentley book and the CDROM and can't find a reference to a cabin filter. Ditto for the owner's manual that came with the car.

Thanks. It is the "dust and pollen" filter.
