Oil Filter Housing

I bought a 2006 Beetle Convertible wrecked, it has damage in front and underneath the front and the radiator was pushed back and broke the oil filter housing, will this be a major job to change. Thanks for any help

Well if the oil filter bracket is damaged, you will have to replace that and, according to Bentley's, requires the coolant be drained and remove the intake manifold.

Why would the intake manifold have to be removed just to replace that? I dont really know alot about these, is there some kind of guide to go by. also what is bentley's.

It's kinda like a haynes, but factory authorized.

A Bently repair manual and a Vag-Com or VCDS would be wise investments for your predicament.
