Default Freezing Warning signal

whenever i start my car for the first time of the day the warning signal comes on saying to be careful of ice on the road. But this is going off even when its well above freezing. How should i fix this? is anyone else having this problem?

w00t it's the return of the mystery snowflake. This is a common issue with our lil bugs. It's a digital read out with an analog input. The numbers on the thermometer have to physically pass from 43 to 44 F *or something close to that* before the snowflake will go off.

So lets say it was 41*F when you turned your car off. Next day you start it up and it's now 70* outside. Well it will start from it's last registered reading and climb up but instead of going 41 42 43 44 45 etc it will jump 41 50 60 65 66 67 68 69 70. Therefore jumping right past the trigger and the snowflake stays lit.

I have a picture on my old computer of my car reading 117*F and still showing the snowflake. It's quite amusing actually.

Use a cryo spray on the temp sensor (while the car is on) and let it warm up?
