Question What if I disconnect the battery?

I will need to disconnect the battery on my 2009 NBC to do some electrical work. How will this effect my car?

Worst case? Radio code reset. Read the instructions fully before doing the reset and understand exactly what you need to do.

Clock will need to be reset as well...

Daisy's battery has been disconnected at least twice and I think I needed to reset the clock and perhaps the radio settings. Your trip odometer will also reset at 0. No biggie.

Well, I was thinking about drive-ability issues that have occurred with the 2.0L models. But I do thank you for the reminders. If I do it this weekend, the clock will have to be set anyway.

What driveability issues? I have a 2.0 and have unhooked my battery. Only had to reset the clock and my radio presets (I have an aftermarket headunit so no codes to set woohoo!). No driveability issues at all afterwards.

You gals and guys have answered my question. No Issues. On the drive-ability statement, I was remembering concerns on previous posts regarding readiness codes, etc., that seemingly affected performance. Emissions are not an issue here, yet. Thanks
