Does anyone know where I can get a cold air intake for my girlfriends 2.5L NB? We got it lowered today and ordered a APR cat-back for it and this thursday its getting chipped with revo at the dealership, now the only other thing we want to do is get an intake for it until the warrenty is up then the motor is getting built and throwing a turbo on it. Does anyone make an intake for these cars yet? Im also looking for a set of clear turn signals for it, anyone know where to get some of those as well?

Intake:
Let me google that for you Clear turns: Let me google that for you Do yourself a favor and leave the oiled filters alone and go with a dry filter like Amsoil, Donaldson or AFE. Oiled filters are great for dirt racing and off-roading on a carbureted engine. They have no place on a pavement pounding fuel-injected modern car. They will kill the MAF and not filter adequately the fine particulates that street cars ingest. I can tell you now that you will see no measurable power increase from an aftermarket intake. It will be psychological only due to the louder noise it makes, the same will be true even when you add a turbo unless you go with a real big one. The stock intake will outflow pretty much any "normal" turbo for this size engine, it will be the turbo that is the choke point. If that is fine with you, go right ahead. The exhaust will be good for when you get the turbo on there, it is good to keep the EGT's down...just don't expect any power increase from it now. You will see a nice increase from the tuning however.

Not sure on the cold air intake, but here are the turn signals you need for a 2006+ 2.5 model.. (2.5L only came in 2006+)
EDIT: Ecstuning does have some stuff for cold air intakes for the 2.5L too. Ecstuning is one of the best places to get stuff for any vw. YOu should favorite them to your bookmarks or something ![]()
