Driver's side headlight
Does anyone have photos for the removal of the driver's side headlight in a 2008 or newer Beetle. All of the posts that I find are either older models or the photos and/or threads are gone.

The process is the same as that shown in the technical thread, however, it is much harder to see both the locking/unlocking nut and even harder to see the latch you need to push down on once it's unlocked. The latch is between the battery and air filter. When I did this two weeks ago, it helped to take off the battery cover and shine a flashlight down between the battery and air filter. Once you know where the latch is, it's pretty easy to spot since it is silver colored. Good luck.
