2006 fan control module location

Could someone please tell me where the fan control module is located on a 2006 beetle 2.5L?

I believe it is beneath the battery compartment/tray.

I have removed the battery and battery tray.I don't see it anywhere. I also have looked from underneath the car with no luck. I have a new module so I really do know what it looks like.

In engine compartment, bottom, to left of radiator

If yours is bad and one from a 2000 2.0 beetle will work i'll sell you one they're pretty expensive.
