Default Timing Belt Time?

Hey guys, quick question. I bought my NB last July with 70k miles... I just hit 100k last week. Should I go ahead and replace the timing belt? I know this is supposedly standard maintenance, but (A) I don't think it was replaced before I bought it and (B) are there any "symptoms" I would notice of it needing to be replaced?

Thanks for any suggestions/advice.

As far as know the 2.5 uses a timing chain instead of a belt.

you shouldn't need to change it, unless it starts getting noisy.

Plus... its a bit more expensive
