Default 2.5 no start - no spark

No spark - confirmed by removing spark plug and grounding to block. Driver said car drove fine but yesterday morning it would not start.

Code P0864 TCM Communication Circuit Range/Performance - not sure if this is a symptom of the fault. As far as I can tell TCM is transmission conrtol module. I am confused what or if that has anything to do with 'no spark'. However, I read somewhere that the electronics is a bus and maybe the TCM is just in the path?

Checked all fuses except there seems to be a green CAN that I can reach but with one hand I can't unfasten to remove to test!

Checked fusible links - look good
Checked main 12v inside all have 12v except for one labled 87/diesel

I suspect the cam sensor. From my research this is a hall effect requiring +12v. I believe Pin 1 +12v, pin 2 gnd, pin 3 signal out. Removed the connector turned key on and checked for +12v on pin 1 - NO 12 VOLTS! But maybe it needs to be connected? Anyhow there is no way to get probe with connected, might try to make a test cable.

Removed the cam sensor and looked in the hole and the cam does turn

Cam sensor - pin 2 to 3 is about 1.7M each direction. Is this correct? Even if I suspect this I am baffled why no +12 on the wiring harness when disconnected and key on.

Anyone please help!
thanks,
Ed

Default Fixed - bad fuse - duh

Two people before me checked the fuses. I couldn't figure out why there wasn't +5v so I couldn't take the chance on the fuses and rechecked them and found a 10A blown. Ouch, fuse #37 blew again after 2 days of good driving. Now trying to confirm if #37 is fused correctly at 10A but I suspect it is since the wires are small.
