Guess I should update everything. Once the insurance company finally decided it was totaled, they paid off the loan company first (we still owed ~$5000), then sent us a check for $1200. Apparently, it only cost the insurance company $600 to fix the Ranger, because that's the last we heard of it. I thought the Ranger looked totaled too, but I guess it wasn't.
I haven't been able to tell yet how much my insurance rates went up, because we added my 18 year old sister at the same time and they shot up like a rocket anyways.
I've still got the bits I pulled off to put for sale here on the org. I'll post a link once I get the pics taken.
