I'm excited too for this GTG, done alot of driving on the oregon coast, my parents have a cabin in pacific city... infact that could be a good stop... cape kawanda. the pelican pub and brewery is there, aparently they have some good brew for those who are interested, and their clam chowder is THE BEST.

cape kawanda is on the 3 capes scenic route, and that may be fun to drive, if we're still taking coastal route suggestions.
