Dire predictions of over $4 a gallon for gas this summer. Maybe that will finally motivate me to finish up the Mercedes which will run on B100. Locally, it's less than gas or regular diesel.
As far as wastefulness, I don't get people sitting in their cars idling in the parking lot when it is 75 degrees outside. That's room temperature! Roll down the freaking window and turn off your car... Geez.

Honda probably won't bring a diesel to the USA until CARB (Calif) approves the sale of diesel powered automobiles. Unlike some manufacturers, like VW, which sells all of its models in 2 segments....1 to meet federal standards and the other to meet Calif standards, Honda sells all of its automobiles to meet 50 state standards, which includes Calif and the New England states that have adopted Calif emissions guidelines. We are special here, which means a special recipe for fuel, unlike anything the rest of the country uses. That is why our cheapest fuel is around $3.30/gal.....though I did see diesel posted at truck stops this last weekend in the $2.80's/gal.
