the job i did a while ago is still holding up, but it could be better.
I don't really remember how many coats of color I laid down. I just laid them down super duper thin and when I had good coverage I stopped and started the clear coat. Clear coat... probably 3 coats laid really thin.

Then a very light sanding with 400,800,1500,2000 Good ole fashioned red Turtlewax rubbing compound and then Mequires number 7 show glaze. I waited 3 months before waxing. I figure two of those coats of clear went good bye during the color sanding but the final results are spectacular.
