98 vr6 Beetle - looking for my history
I am the proud owner of a 98 VR6 converted beetle. It has a Shick manifold, customer 18 inch wheels designed by Dr boltz and many more special features I am only now getting to understand.
My hope is that there is someone out there that know more of this cars history. It was shown in car shows around 2000 here in California.
I understand that it was assembled here in California, raced in europe and then brought back over and converted to allow it to be driven day to day (with a kick when needed).
Appreciate any leads I can get.
