I also get water drops everytime I wash the car. To remove them I usually use a slightly whetened window leather (guys watch it - don't use ur wife's or girlfriend's cleaning leather - they might act rude - trust me
)
and wipe over the car once, starting at the roof. No more stains
Also possible is using a slightly whetened towel to "re-wet" the car and then use the meguiars magic towel thingy to suck off the water... A big plus on the meguiars thing is - no risk of making any scratches in your paint as it doesn't "brake" on the paint like the leather does
