Default upgraded clutch...

was at the strip last night using up the last of my stock tires before i put my F1s on. left the box and everything was fine. left the line and when i went to shift into 2nd the clutch pedal only returned half way... i droped the throttle and put the car in neutral. coasted the rest of the 1/4 and pulled over. well, on the long coast at 30 to the end i noticed that the inside of the car felt really hot and i had that "mmmm, roasted clutch" smell... well the car drove fine home, no slipping in 6th flooring it from 60, nothing odd. it seems to grab the same but im wondering if it would be worth the investment to upgrade my clutch now instead of when it grenades... things in my cars tend to go explosively, not gracefully so keep that in mind.

as far as "expected power" im thinking no more than 350-400 in its final stage. for awhile its going to be stock with a chip and then later on in life i plan to go some sort of BT but not a high boost maniacal strip car. i would like to keep the pedal about the same and maintain street feel if possible.

Matt
