Ditto what Ollie said about ABQ. I love the city it's so much like Denver just more Native American culture and that southwest feel. It has the really nice malls that aren't exactly unique to New Mexico but work just fine for a girl who has extra cash!
Old Town is cool I've only been there once. Sandia Peak is beautiful I saw a black bear standing next to the road when we drove up there. Their mountains are more like our foothills but still really nice. Another great thing about the city is that it is super easy to get around.
If you have to go to the Presbyterian ER, plan on 8-9 hours. Been there, done that!!
