Which brings up the question...
From what source did you hear that the nB was being phased out?
It seems like all the 2010 concept pics and phasing out questions we're getting (at least from my end) are from non-VW sources. If someone has an actual writeup/bulletin/press release from VW/VWoa that would be a big help.
(al goes back to previous posts in this thread to check) Other than that, it seems like VW is being tight-lipped on the VW's future, but as I've said, i don't have all the info.
Vicky take heart in the fact that if and when ever the nB ends it's production run, like the MK1 Rabbits and even air-cooled VW's, the nB will continue through the aftermarket and used car market. I know they won't be showroom new, but you'll find something nice out there.
And it's nice to see your long-term passion for the New Beetle as well
