Friday was a good day all around. Got a lot of yard work done in the morning and took a nap in the afternoon as I had to get rested for the second half.
Foxy, i.e. "Foxy Island Girl" as our 2005 Cyber Green NB TDI has been officially named, (because we live on "Fox Island the name came naturally) transported my wife and I out to dinner for our 33rd wedding anniversary.
The other good news, on the way home we had to get diesel and this gave me the first chance to calculate my mileage. I’m such a romantic.
41.5 MPG @ 20% freeway, 20% city and 60% rural roads, i.e. roads with 25 to 45 mph limits. I’m happy with that.
