I didn't know that I could get the software flashed for only $100. I thought that it generally runs $500+ for that...
I am trying to stay away from the dealerships because they have ripped me off in the past and the dealer that did the swap told me that the CEL was "nothing to worry about". I didn't know at the time that it would cause me to fail inspection. Now that I know, I feel totally screwed over by them
. I would take it to them and complain but I live 8+ hours away now.
It would be cool if getting the software flashed would give me more power. I have been wanting to have it flashed anyway by giac or a similar company. Maybe now I have a good excuse to do it
Does anyone know if these tuning company's software would fix the problem?
One thing that might tell you guys something is that after the swap the turbo blowoff became much more noticeable. There is a distinct fluttering sound. Is this is normal for the AWP?
