Be aware that you are unlikely to see any noticeable power gains by doing this. You won't hurt anything either...but exhaust mods usually show little benefit on an otherwise stock engine. It will drop your EGT's somewhat, which is good for your turbo no matter what. And it also allows you to add more power in the future.

The downpipe is in 2 pieces and it has to bungs for both o2 sensors. Thank you for the info. As long as it won't hurt anything that is all I am worried about. Thank you. ALso the clamp that clamps the rear part of the exhaust to the end of the downpipe will fit if it is 2.5 in and the stock exhaust is still at the rear? Thank you.
