Ok, I did not plan on working on my NB tonight, but my... ... got the better of me.

I wanted to take pictures of the odometer display for the mileage thread. Well my NB is on jacks so I have to be careful when getting in and out; which you are not supposed to do anyway. So when I got in I grab the steering wheel and it moved and locked... dang!

So I got the key and turned the ignition to release the lock and got two surprises; one of which did not cause any problems, but I did have to disconnect the battery to make it stop. Apparently there is a electric water pump somewhere.

Under the right circumstances the other could have started a fire. The latex finger cap that I used to cap the fuel line popped because the fuel pump starts when you insert the key! Gas went everywhere!
