You'll get a kick out of this Casey. Cup and I went to this VW shop/garage/salvage place this Friday past, called Hilltop Motors... I told them I would give them a plug
. Anyhoo I was asking them for a few parts and such. At first the dude didn't know who I was, which is understandable. So he went over to Cup, looked her over and then came back to me. He went to the guy behind the parts desk and said...
"Take care of this guy- give him a real good price. He's in all the VW shows"
He goes on further to say...
"You're always in the show with my sister, She has the Spongebob beetle"
I replied... "I remember your sister. She got first place and I got second"
He continues to say to the counter guy "Yeah this guy has a big following, hook him up- maybe He'll bring us some business"
Astonished, I replied... "is that right?"
He continues.... "C'mon now. I've seen everyone around your bug. You have a following".
Who knew
Anyhoo, i've said all of that to say, He only recognized me AFTER He seen Cup. I'm known by Cup more than me. Kind cool i think.
