LOL! I don't think I sound like a mom, just someone who's been there and done that and has found the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with. And has no "what could have been?" or "what if?" thoughts because I lived, I dated, I got my heart broken and I broke a few, myself (not proud of that, by the way) and I had to go through all of that to realize the one for me was right there all along. All the dating I did also helped me to realize what I wanted and didn't want in my partner for life.
