ok vw went through like what somewhere around 17 years? befor the nb. and look.... the new beetle was a HUGE hit everyone was nuts! the auto industry had never seen anything to stay so close to its "roots" but still have more than the modern things in a car... i really think vw needs to do something with the nb, but i dont think they will drop just like that without a fight. with many other comments above i want to add that the NEW BEETLE is called that for a reason! its new, its changing, its exciting!!! thats what we all love this car for!

we will always have the classic beetle... and thats what that is the CLASSIC beetle. like i said this is new! the fun, the young, old, the proud.... the car we love no matter what!
