Finally got around to getting my exhaust put in yesterday.
I was loosing power as it was. My flex pipe was leaking.
Seems to be a common problem on the 1.8T's
So I had that replaced.
Sounds great with the system is in.
Actually it sounds quieter now up front compared to the leaky flex pipe I was getting use to. It was like a very raspy throaty sound coming from the engine but, from underneath.
All I hear now is my air filter up front and a soothing deep rumble out back. Love it!
Here's a couple of shots of the rear I took in the garage last night and a small video clip of the interior sound on YouTube. This was in my garage and it was late at night so I had to make it short and sweet ..... almost blew my camera off the tripod on the start up ..hehe
