Yeah I tried RAGGTOPP. It helped some but it did not get out the faint dirt spots in my Beige roof. So overall I am kinda diappointed with RAGGTOPP. I've tried Eagle's convertible top cleaner too. I don't know that there is anything that will get that dirt out without being a harsh chemical.
So my opinion is this - if the stain or blemish is organic in nature, I'll use RAGGTOPP. It's emzyme based and breaks down organic compounds. For anything else, I will probably use Eagle's conv top cleaner. It has more surfactants to help lift dirt away.
Oddly, I have yet to use Volkswagen's own top cleaner. The guy at the parts counter didn't recommend it for the beige top.
