Before I forget, keep your figures crossed for Probie that we don't have to go back to the doc. After getting his new nozzles, we were having some fuel issues. He was leaking fuel all over the engine compartment. Well today got progressively worse and I decided to go see my TDI doc, Troy. Well, everytime we stopped, Probie would leave large puddles of diesel fuel. My CEL came on and he started to run really really rough. Steam would billow out from underneath the hood like he was severely over heating, he wasn't, it was just burning diesel fuel. By the time I got to Troy's, diesel was seeping out from under the hood down the front bumper, my fog lights and lower grill were covered in fuel. When I popped the hood, the head liner in the hood started to pour out diesel fuel as if someone was pouring it from a cup. Steam came rushing out and soon Troy's garage floor was covered in atleast a gallon of diesel fuel. I used a quarter tank of fuel to go 56 miles!!!

After some investigation, the injector line on cylinder 4 was completely loose. Probie was misfiring on cylinder 4 that was causing him to run rough the whole time. I was afraid he'd break a motor mount; he was shaking so hard. So we tightened the line, and it looks like it's threaded weird. So it may or may not stay fixed. So, prayers for Probie if you will, that we don't have to go through this ordeal again. Nothing like watching your pride and joy bleed out everything you just put into him and not know what's causing it. I hated to drive him in that condition, but I knew he needed to be looked at and soon! So, that was our ordeal today. Hopefully that won't happen again. I'm borrowing Matt's 17 mm open ended wrench so if it does, I will be acquiped to fix it. My poor little guy!!
