The only thing that I would be worried about with Armour All is that it has a tendency to dry out the surface that it's put on when it's in the heat. It will cause a dash to crack. I am not really sure how it would react with a NB dash, because the NB dash has that rubberized coating on it, but I DO KNOW first hand about dashes on other cars. My advise would be, DON'T DO IT. I wish someone had told me about the ill effects of Armour All on dashes long before I had ever used it on a previous car of mine.
Using it, doesn't make you "a bad beetle mom" because your intentions were good, I would just not recommend using it from here on out.
