When I 1st joined almost 5 years ago I didn't give much thought to my username and never really liked it.
Jane really isn't my middle name. John (FineExampl) just started calling me AmyJane a long while back and then other people, like Miss Ellen (LnzBug) joined in, and I liked it because my mother's name was Mary Jane (she passed when I was almost 2). So it's a combo of my name and her name and I thought it was cool that he started calling me that without even knowing that fact
And I've always been told that I'm alot like she was. So it's basically a nickname and it stuck
