Default Dash Gunk
The dash on my 2003 NB is soft and covered with gunk. Even the slightest touch leaves an impression. My bet is that the previous owner used the wrong cleaning product and destroyed the integrity of the dash material.

I simply tried to "scratch off" a spot of this gunk once and it left a gouge in the dash that I can't remove. Any remedies for the gunk and/or scratches?
