Ok, here's some new pics of Herbie. With VW as the spotlight car for the 2009 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, Herbie was asked to be an honorary pace car of sorts for the event to represent the VW brand and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the Love Bug. Here's some pics from the event.

Plus back in March at a get together for the 40th in Florida, I had the opportunity to meet Chuck Smith who worked for EMPI and was one of the builders of my car back in 1967.
