There are no "drop-in" kits for proper HID projectors. HID projectors will already accept the typical D2S HID bulb. HID "kits" are rebased with halogen-type bases.

A proper HID retro would typically include this:
Projectors: BMW M3 E46 E38 Audi TT BOSCH Xenon HID D2S PROJECTORS:eBay Motors (item 350296128659 end time Jan-20-10 16:06:46 PST)
Bulbs: NEW Germany OEM Philips 85122+ D2S 35W Xenon HID BULBS:eBay Motors (item 380189003701 end time Jan-15-10 14:32:45 PST)
Ballasts: BMW Audi Hella Gen3 Xenon HID KIT BALLAST IGNITER BULBS:eBay Motors (item 300378231127 end time Dec-22-09 19:52:42 PST)

It is also essential to wire up a relay harness to power the ballasts as it can burn up the stock wiring otherwise. I can link a wiring schematic if needed, but basically you have a trigger wire from the stock wiring that energizes the relay. The relay then takes power direct from the battery and sends it to the ballasts. Your stock wiring remains intact and no load is placed on it.

The projectors I linked to mount right in the place of the stock halogen projectors with very minimal modification.

The result is excellent light output that will not blind oncoming traffic unlike HID kits.
