That's awful!!!! Sorry to hear about this!

My mom had a similar situation happen in her Hyundai Tuscon. She hit a pothole so deep that it flattened and bent BOTH of her passenger side wheels. After getting the SUV towed to the dealer, come to find out the control arm broke, some other misc stuff broke and the fender well was torn up. I believe it was a total of $2300 in repairs or something like that. Insurance paid for it thankfully. I think my mom tried to sue to city for faulty roads, since we weren't the only ones to have this happen to us, at that exact location. But i'm not sure what came of it.

Might want to see if you can get the city to pay for the damages. It's probably going to be costly, and I wouldn't fork out a penny because it wasn't your fault the road was falling apart like that and there was no proper warning signs on it.

Good luck and I hope you can get your car back soon. Our little cars don't like pot holes.

Question, since your oil pan and waterpump were damaged....does that mean you DIDN"T have a belly pan on the car? Look into getting a panzer plate and hopefully if you encounter another hole the size of Oklahoma again, your engine will be safe.
