alas, it is not meant to be. The guy won't take less than 6500 for it, which is way too much for a 23 year old car with 175k miles on it and the myriad of things wrong with it.

then i went to say goodbye to an old family friend. He and his wife are splitting up, and he's moving to florida. :'( had to watch my brother and dad both break down in tears before we left... Not easy for me to deal with.
