Thanks for the reply. I should have explained "dim" more. I can see parts of each letter and/or number but not enough to decipher the letter and/or number. It is almost like part of any character does not get dark enough to read. We have not used any type of cleaner on the dash. However, a few months ago after washing the convertible top, a small amount leaked on the dash when we next drove the car. I don't think it was enough to leak in the radio as we caught it with a towel before it could run that far. This was about 6 months ago and no problems until last week. Any other ideas?
