I'm glad it's fixed, I learned something new today.
My schematics for the cassette radio's I worked on don't show a AUX imput on those pins in the green plug. They were to be used for other things. Delphi must have planned for the addition of a plug possibly a USB port in the future and changed the internal circuitry to get ready for it.
