Speaking of.....

Cup has come back to me!!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!

I finished up around 11:30p.m. I would've been done sooner, but I had to locate the cooling flange and run-after water pump- i'll be installing them probably tomorrow or Monday depending on how I feel... i need a little down time.

I actually fired up Cuppers last night. she ran fine after some effort to start a car sitting for 3 weeks and with no alternator yet hooked up. So tonight I completed reassembly and started her up. Now I was a bit nervous being I've heard horror stories of folk missing their timing by 1 tooth on the timing belt. Thank God She's running and sounding great with no crappy out of time sound. So I took her for a gentle spin around the neighborhood and back to the house; still runs and sounds great! She does have a CEL, but that was on before- I'll go to AutoZone and have them scan Her and see what's up. It's safe to say that the CEL is not a result of bad timing alignment.

Well I'll blab more tomorrow. We just sprung forward and I lost an hour sleep. Good night!
