I had the opportunity to speak to Charlene Fisher, the manager of the Everett St. Diner. I give her the scoop on our event and our quest for breakfast over the weekend. Here's the details
-Open for breakfast at 7:00
-the restaurant seats 70
-seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
-Although they don't take reservations, they would do their best to save some tables for us. Just give her advance notice and us being prompt to them making space for us .
Mrs, Fischer was very accommodating to my request for information and seemed happy to help us in any way possible. I told her that I would give her notice on our breakfast plans the beginning of the week of the event. She was very, very appreciative of that; she and her staff want to be prepared for the large crowd.
This diner was recommended to me by the lady at the front desk of the Ridge Top per a conversation we had today. She did mention a new restaurant called the Iron Skillet which has been around for about a year. She really didn't have much of a review on that joint, but gave high praises to the Everett St. Diner.
So gang, who's up for breakfast? I'll probably give Cup a cleaning Friday night so I don't have to worry about it in the morning. That way Val and I can get a good breakfast.
